The Group works with community leaders, elected officials, and the media to build the framework for a collaborative and cooperative response to critical incidents while ensuring that the goals of each stakeholder are represented.
During a Critical Incident, the Group serves as our Stakeholder Coordinator. The Group ensures that all stakeholders have the information they need to report back to their organizations while also ensuring that the focus of the Stakeholders is on the peaceful resolution of important matters. The Group provides information from the Stakeholders to Dean to relay to Law Enforcement to ensure that the community is being heard. Specifically, the Group’s role is to ensure that internal and external messaging is coordinated during a critical incident in a manner that prevents additional public safety challenges while maintaining a fair and transparent investigation.
