The Law Enforcement Monitoring, Assessment, and Resource Center (LEMAR Center) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. LEMAR Center will offer scalable, flexible, and adaptable services that are designed to coordinate efforts among all stakeholders – Law Enforcement Executives, Civil Rights Groups, Law Enforcement Unions, Elected Officials, the Media, and Insurers - to achieve our common objectives while each maintains independence to support their own objectives independent of our mission. Our goal is to integrate each stakeholder’s diverse authority and capabilities to achieve the common goals of preventing law enforcement misconduct, promoting public trust, and ensuring safer communities.
The time has come to do something different. LEMAR Center was founded upon the belief that including all major stakeholders will ensure that efforts to improve the public trust in law enforcement and prevent police misconduct are successful.
We strongly believe that law enforcement requires the community to support its objectives and that the community requires law enforcement to provide the protection and service at the highest level.
LEMAR Center is looking for an host. We are seeking the opportunity to join a university that is dedicated to unbiased law enforcement oversight
LEMAR Center is looking for funding. Please consider donating to LEMAR Center, Inc. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all of your donations are tax deductible.
We need your help. Those who have an interest in law enforcement, law enforcement oversight, and particularly those who are familiar with non-profit funding - we need your help!
We want to help you meet your educational goals while helping us accomplish our goal of promoting better police-community relations. We invite students with diverse viewpoints to join us here.
